The history of
FC Lakeside
Lakeside High School was opened in 2005 with a minimal enrollment of approximately 1000 Freshmen and Sophomores. Lakeside Lancer Soccer fielded it's first Varsity team that same year playing a freelance schedule and concluded the year with a record of 9 wins, 2 losses, and 2 ties. Including that very first season, the Lancers have gone on to win 169 games, lose 93, and tie 39. The boys have won 5 Sunbelt League titles and have made the playoffs in 9 times in 13 seasons of play. The 2012 team made program and school history by capturing the school's first ever CIF Championship in any sport when they defeated San Bernardino Cajon 3-1. The Boys Soccer Program at Lakeside has established itself as one of the best in the area and continues to be a standard bearer for Lakeside High School and its athletic programs.
